Default Street Glide VS Road Glide

I currently own a 2010 Street Glide with a Klockwerks 6.5 windscreen. With that being said my question is this, how much difference in ride quality is there between a Street Glide and a Road Glide? I still get some buffeting with the current windscreen and wondered if Road Glide owners experience the same turbulence with their fairings?

I put the 12" klock werks windshield on my Road Glide and I only get wind buffeting when I'm doing about 80mph, but the bike is perfectly stable and SMOOTH!... other than that, I just feel a nice breeze on my face while riding.

I had the KW windscreen on Hester and sold it a week later. In my case, it was no better than the stock toe nail screen.

If I was looking to buy again I think the rental for a day is the best way to tell what works best for me. After a day or two in the saddle you will or shoulod know what you want.

Good luck with your search,

There won't be a difference in ride quality, per se, between the two because the only difference is the fairing on the 2010 bikes.

I originally wanted a Street Glide. I like the way they look much better than the Road Glide. It took about 5 minutes in the seat of each to decide which one was going to be more comfortable for me.

I added a 15" Cee Bailey's Euro shield, the lowers, and the fork baffle, and it's very comfortable behind the fairing.

I have never ridden a RG - but I assume the dual headlights give a brighter path at night. Is is noticable over, say a typical one eye like a RK ?

NO! The dual headlights do not give you better lighting at night. I ASSUMED the same thing before buying my '09.The single large headlight throws out a much more intense beam. There is a large "Road Glide lighting topic somewhere on here. Having said that I would buy another RG in a heart beat. Just add extra lighting.
