Passenger Floorboard Question
I have a SG with Passenger pegs. The problem is my passenger complained they hurt her feet on longer rides so the nice guy that I am went out and bought floorboards for her. They were a pain in the butt to install because I couldn't get a wrench on the lower bolt. Finally, after the installation was complete, the next problem was they were too high for her legs.
I'm wondering if I can move them down by placing the upper bolt in the lower hole and just going with the one bolt? Will this work or is there another set-up to go with without spending a fortune?

No, that style bracket requires a 2 bolt system. On '09 and earlier models you have 4 tapped holes for 3/8-16 bolts and you should have gotten hardware to fit with your bracket kit. One bolt is placed in the lowest hole thru the slot in the bracket and another bolt thru the hole in the top of the bracket. Your vertical adjustment comes from loosening the lower bolt and repositioning the upper bolt after sliding the bracket up or down to your desired position.
The other style bracket (older version) is a teardrop shaped bracket that used a single bolt and a nub that would fit inside one of the other 3 mounting holes on the frame to prevent the bracket from twisting out of position.
