One of the reasons to ride a harley is the comraderie among owners that is truly unique to the harley brand.

OK, I'll bite too.

1. As a kid I was the wild one of the bunch tearing up my bicycle wishing it had a motor. Now I got one.
2. My uncle rode me on his when I was around 8, burnt my leg on the pipe but it was cooler than hell anyway.
3. Seen Easyrider the movie as a teen and thought I could do that.
4. Chicks dig it. and
5. I can afford it. and
6. I can fix it.

Had a wideglide first, moved up to a streetglide. There are many reasons but my desire to have one started as a kid and never changed.

1) I had a Honda Cub 50. 1964
2) I had a Suzuki 150 1965
3) I had a Triumph TR6 650 1967
4) I had a Norton 750 Commando 1970
5) I Had a Triumph 650 TR6 Chopper 1969

I have to agree.

I always wanted a HD because of its history, style, versatility, reliability and the brotherhood.
