Thanks to posts by other readers of this forum, I became aware that vented lowers are available for the 2010 touring models. Apparently the same lowers are used on all 2010 touring models including the Ultra and CVO RG. For 2009 and earlier RGs a special set of non-vented lowers was required because the vented lowers for the Batwing fairing found on the other touring models (Ultra, Classic, etc.) would not fit. Using the same set of vented lowers for all touring models makes a lot of sense.
