Bruce00, I can't help but wonder how much your exhaust is affecting your bikes performance. I almost went w/the Road Rage on my TW26G 1550, but got to figuring that the RR's may be better suited to a more aggressive build than what I have. The freer flow of a more open exhaust seems to be better suited for high-end HP gains at the expense of low end TQ. I have no idea how the 203 compares w/Andrews TW26's, just that they're both "mild" cams. Something else to ponder I suppose...

I was just in New Brunswick at the beginning of the month. We did the Gaspe for 2 days, and spent 3 days in NB. What part of NB are you in? We stayed in Belldune a couple of nights, and in Norton, we went to 3 dealers while we were there also.

I was set on the Andrews 26G until someone on another forum said the HQ-0034G cam is like a mix of the 26G low-end and the 37G top-end.........not I'm debating again, and I hate to debate.

Steve
I am just outside of Fredericton (near Grand Lake) and not to far from Norton, maybe next time. I am running SE203 cams in my 95" build right now, witch comes in at 234/ 239 .510/.510 a bit more agress than the Andrews 26G and HQ-0034G so I wouldn't even consider that. So with head work I think the HQ-0039G will be perfect if I stay with the flat pistons, but I an also considering going a bit higher in comp and a forged piston. donno $$ will decide how far I go with it lol. So you went to our three stealers did you, Toys isn't too bad for service but I stay away from there, Chopper Rods in Fredericton is a good spot for service.
We went to Stewarts HD in Miramichi, NB, Toys for Big Boys in Moncton, and Eldridge HD in St. John. We went to New Richmond HD when we were up on the Gaspe. What a difference in the dealers in the US to the dealers up there.......much smaller up there when compared to down here. Not to mention the T-shirts were $40 each, the 8.5% exchange rate didn't help much.

I'm still looking for info on the HQ-0034G.............someone on here voted for it in the poll but I don't know who. If no info comes on it, I'll go with the proven Andrews 26G.

Really can't answer that question because I went with the exhaust and a dyno tune with the PCIII all at the same time. Big difference from the stock pipes & HD download. But I can tell you this, when you hammer the bike off idle, it pulls alright till 2500/2800rpms, then pulls like a freight train till redline @6200. But I think thats the pipes not the cams.
Winter time the heads are coming off with either those being reworked or a set of SE CNC ported ones. Trying to work a deal on a brand new set that have been diamond cut

I have the 203's in my bike right now on a stock build with a PCIII, we were running up hwy 26 on sunday and I had the wife with me, we were running up hill on a long grade and the speedo was reading 90mph when the wife said,[sm=icon_beat.gif] slow down, heck, I was right on my buddies bike and he was solo.
I no that the 203's aren't the best cam in the world but I think there not to bad, I will eventually put in gear drives when I do a up grade down the road, say a 98" GMR kit and a set of Andrews 37g's.
