Hi folks,
Just want to say HI and I'm on the dark side now as a new owner of a Vivid Black '10 RKC, picked it up yesterday when I traded my '09 Dyna. First impressions are very solidly favorable, noticed right of the bat that I'm not getting any head buffeting at freeway speed, which was killing me with the narrow windshield I had on my super glide custom. I had to dodge rain coming home so I only got about 30 miles on her. I'm officially on the "Geezer" team now, but hey thats ok, I'm going to be 52 next week. I'm going to have a few questions from time to time.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have a couple hundred miles on her now and cant get over the differences between the dyna and the touring bikes. The RK stops a heck of alot better than the dyna, the extra brake on the front makes a huge difference. Also, enjoying the windshield at freeway speeds. The seating position takes some getting used to though.

Congrats on your new RKC. The RK is an awesome bike, smooth and very easy to ride. It's comfortable and those saddle bags are hard to beat - lots of room and with a 4-point docking kit you can add accessories or remove them in seconds. I like the quick-detachable windshield too. I'm 100% satisfied with mine and ride it daily.
