I admit I'm kinda stupid, how does the black plastic piece fit on the bottom when installing, the picture in the instructions is blurry, and it doesn't explain how that fits into place.
I have two kids who are chomping at the bit to finally get their feet to rest!
figured this simple stuff out! now their on, my kids love um!

I put them on this year. I don't like them. As shown in a previous post, if you have saddlebag guards only the two forward positions work. One raises your passengers foot height, and one requires you to rest your calf to get some stretch. My wife didn't like either option so they were basically fancy chrome doodads. One side kept loosening up (not the mount, the moving arm) and I had to take it all apart and threadlock the part the factory should have in the first place.
The instructions suck, it is actually easy to install, just start putting it on and you will see how it works. This video is easy to understand, but hard to find on their website.

I am looking for a different system, because the whole right side passenger assembly sheared off for no reason. I am not talking the adjustable peg, I mean the whole Harley bracket, stock floorboard, and adjustable peg. It happened right before a weekend trip, so I put a 3/8 inch fine thread grade 5 bolt in for temporary use.
Also if your wife is tall, like mine, the Adj Pegs only work with floorboard in high position, so to me it is all bad.
There are nice HD adjustable pegs, but they really are not made to be readjusted, once you get them where yo want them, so I am still looking. Probably going to get the Rivco adjustable peg that I posted earlier this week.

I am waiting to see what Nels, who bought them, says about them. After I change to whatever, I will have a left only for sale if anyone has a broken one and want's to replace it, PM me. It'll be cheap.

RON750 I posted pictures and a review on your previous post although limited , still raining here but they are what I was looking for as they get the floorboards completley out of the way. There are nice changes in the product that aren't in the picture Rivco shows . Theres a full range of positions although the furthest down is under the exhaust and a passanger might burn her leg. The dreaded Harley tattoo!! Added bonus is able to clean everything easier that the original floorboards made hard.

Thanks for the review. I will order them. Thanks for the heads up on the Harley tattoo.
