Thumbs up Got 'em on my '04 Ultra

I put a set on last year and my wife loves 'em. I've had no quality problems with these although I have with some other Kuryakyn items. Ditto on the calf bumping but, like everyone else has said, no big deal. If I know I'm going to be doing much backing I'll fold them back. On the earlier models like my '04 it's kinda difficult to change position settings on the left footrest while the pipe is hot since it's very close to the lock-pin. Since my wife doesn't change the setting all that much we've never had a real problem with that either. Short of it - I highly recommend them.

We have them and the lady loves them in the full forward position. She did have to learn to put her feet back down on the floorboards when we come to a stop, to keep from hitting me in the back of my calves. We never lock them in place, so they will fold back if I hit them with my legs.

IMO, the quality was excellent. After four years I had horizontal one bolt loosen. I took the whole unit off to Lok-tite it, there was no rust anyplace.

I have them on my '09 Ultra and wife loves them, We are both short and when we are coming to a stop wife kicks up floorboards so I don't hit the back of my legs on them. Gives her different positions and if we have to make sudden stop she uses them to brace herself. Worth the money to me.

Here are pics of the right side mount. Kury advertises the peg as a 4 position peg but only 2 positions are usable.

1. Fully retracted for out of the way storage.
2. Partially retracted for out of the way storage at about a 10 o'clock position if you have a water bottle holder attached to the saddlebag guard.
3. & 4. 1st usable position at about 1 o'clock.
5. Second usable position at about 2:30 o'clock.

I have guard bags so mine do not fully retract but the wife loves to be able to reposition so her feet and ankles don't cook or fall asleep. Money well spent for us, but be aware, if the other half stretches or tries to stand up on them they will break, they are a rest only.

I have them on my 09 Ultra, money well spent. Wife is 5'0 so her calves were hitting the bag guards. Quality product.

They are expensive and the quality should reflect the cost.....they just fall short. Thanks again, Kuryakyn.

My wife won't ride without them. That said, I have had problems with the plastic cover on the end of the locking pin. Twice they have come apart and eventually must be removed/replaced.

I have these as well, my wife loves them. She will now ride a lot further before wanting to stop. I have no issues with the product. Took me about 10 minutes to install and it fit as advertised.

Thanks for all the replies, looks like I need to order them. Found them on e-bay new for 149.00 that's 50.00 cheaper than the kuryakyn website.
