Default Tool for removing wiring pins from connectors.

Any recommendations on where to buy a good pin removal tool for HD wiring? Looking ahead to my winter project for next year (Wild 1 Chubbies) and figured I'd start accumulating what I'll need. Waiting for winter to take my time with it.

You know those junky little screwdriver kits you can get at Walmart, etc. like pictured below, I took one that was close in size to the holes and ground the tip down on a bench grinder.....works perfect!

I bought the little 'pick' tools from Menards. The ones that look like dental tools. I used the straight one.

Which plug? Ford or Deutsch connector? I bought a tool for $3.00 from Ladd Industries and also made a tapered flat sided tool that comes to a point on a grinder out of a small flat screwdriver.

I haven't checked yet and don't have the shop manual handy but it's for the connectors for the handlebar switches. I need to remove them from the connector/s to run the wiring through the new bars.

I just got finished with this very project on my 09 street glide and the handlebar swap...
I tried to use the smaller eye glass screwdriver I had but it just wasn't small enough to insert into the holes of the molex connectors to release the locking mechinism for me...I then tried a hair pin and although it would fit tightly I was able to get a couple pins removed but only after much persistence...I knew I had to find something better...I rooted around inside the tool box and stumbled on a set of welding tip cleaner files...these were of assorted round sizes and worked like a charm...I figured that they will work again on the deutsch fittings as well when and if the time comes again that I need to do something like this again...
