The SG is a great bike! Be aware the stock seat for two up is worthless for more than a warm her up putt! The stock windshield is gonna buffet your head off( I still love it tho!!)!!! I bought a Sundowner for 2-up riding, and a 8" clearview recurve that I have not used yet! Small change and you got a low-slung , kick/*** tourer!!

Keep your bike and get an ultra for travel. Thats what i did, kinda I got a cop glide for travel, a few addons and its awesome for travel. Saved lots of money and have both, just a thought.

Wow, I'm not even 40 and get called a geezer...that sucks. I always wanted the heritage softtail custom classic. Finally, one day I went to my H-D dealer and talked to a salesman about them. He told me that they were giving free demo rides for, whatever gathering it was that they were doing. So I signed up and got to take the bike for a 6 mile demo ride. I was really loving it till I got it on the hiway and opened her up. I hated every bit of being on the bike at 70 mph. When i got back I signed up to get on a RK and took the demo ride on it, 6 months later I bought one. Smiles ever since! Moral of the story, test ride every bike that you are considering buying, b4 u spend that much cash for something you might regret.

Just did Atlanta-Denver-Atlanta on my Heritage. I love that bike and really had no qualms about that long ride on it - but I hopped on my son's Road King for an hour somewhere in Oklahoma, and it was a much better ride at 80 - even a 2006 police version with 5 gears. Now I'm looking at Street Glide, Ultra (Limited) and lately the Road Glide (which I am warming up to the most, if I can get by the looks). I'm going to wait to see what 2011 brings. If they offer a Road Glide with a 103 I'm in!

It is a shame the Road King Custom went
belly up. But it can be built out of a Road
King Classic. It has the hart of a dyna but the
body of the bagger

I dont know about the RKC being a geezer glide either. I know I love mine. However this FLTRK thing everyone keep talking about may be well worth looking into. Yes a FUGLY, I could do that. .... I think
