Default LED light kits

Hey guys I was out riding the other night with the wife. On the way home we passed an Ultra. The guy had LED running lights under his bags and looked like under his tank lighting up his motor. I thought it looked pretty nice, really showed off his bike.

Does anyone have these? Where did you get them? How hard where they to install? I'm not much with wiring… are there any laws in California keeping one from running them at night? If so what colors are allowed?

Thanks

You will want to check with your particular state as to the legallity of running them while riding. I know some states its illegal to run them while riding. They are available from the moco as well as several different companies....Kuryakyn etc......They are very easy to install. The lights themselves are typically just placed on with provided double sided tape. The wiring is really very simple....Plug and play for the most part depending on how many lights you buy.

LEDs can be cool if they're tastefully done. Check out Custom Dynamics. They have great kits that require no soldering to install.

I watched how-to videos here, but found Custom Dynamics' prices and kits more appealing.

Most states it is illegal to ride with them on regardless of color. Install is easy most mount with 2 sided tape. More of a Bike night thing not on my list but if you like them. There must be a lot of people buying them they are even sold by HD. As KTM Scott said if you over due it it looks cheesy IMHO

I'd check out Custom Dynamics. They have at least 8 different LED kits ranging from a starter with two light strips to packages with up to 31 lights. Many colors to choose from as well.

There legal in Pa, not sure about your state. Install was pretty easy, double sided tape, and wiring just plug in and run to the next light, one lead coming off of battery. At least that is how my set is. No experince w/ electrical and I did it with no problem hardest part is running and hiding the wire. I went with boogey lights and am real happy with the quailty. www.boogey.com

Have done two of mine and a friends with boogey lights. On my Uktra, did the complete engine kit, strips under the back and a pair of lights on the front calibers. Not over done but looks prett sweet. Guys are pretty helpful there. Not too bad to install if you at all mechanical. First install of this size would be about 4 to 5 hours
