Anyway, take a look at that thread though, there are a couple of posts with the contact info for a place you can get a deal on them.

I have the smoked BAL. I cannot get over how bright it is... no pictures can really do it justice. The price will leave you a little light in the wallet, but in return you get great customer service and a good warranty. I know I got a solid product and it looks great! I have some buddies who installed cheaper LED tail lights and they really do not compare to the BAL.

Steve, thanks for taking the time to take and post the pictures.
I have the BAL-1R (solid red tail light lens) and it's great. I like the flash-then steady feature; but, also like the higher intensity run light feature also.
It's pricey for sure, but if you buy it instead of throwing money at HD's tour pak spoiler LED, saddlebag spoiler LED, HD's tri-bar SG or fender extension run/brake LED, HD's run/brake/turn signal module (have that also), your cumulative expense of really improving your rear lighting is easier to take.
Guys (myself included) spend close to $200 for the tour pak and/or saddlebag spoiler LED's. I rode behind a buddy with the tour pak spoiler LED and the tri-bar fender extension LED on his '07 RG and the BAL is far superior to those.
Thanks, again, Steve for the pics and comparison.

I would like to point out something here...
In my group of riding buddies one has a very bright aftermarket LED-type brake light (not sure of the brand). It looks really nice but, compared to the other bikes, it looks like he is on the brakes all the time! After ridding behind him for a while, it is hard to tell when he is braking. Yes, I am a very careful driver, keep my distance and I pay attention. I am also an engineer and I tend to analyze things...
So, in my opinion, there is a limit on how bright the rear light should be. If your rear light is way brighter than everyone else around you, people will think that you are on the brakes. After they realize that you are not, they may ignore your brake light all together (even for a fraction of a second) because they might consider it as defective. This might cause an accident. Really, put yourself in the shoes of the person driving behind you.
On my bike I will install the red LED bulb mentioned in this thread. I like LEDs because they are somewhat brighter and last longer. I believe that's a great way to go.
Again, this is my opinion. You do not have to agree. No flames please...
