Difference betwen an 06 and a 07 S.G
Ok here's the deal.
I'm in the market for a street glide. I want to know the difference
between a 06 and a 07 street glide. I know what your thinking do a
damn search. And I couldn't find nada.
I know the 07 have the bigger motor and a extra gear but besides that.
What else? Oh not to mention the price difference.
So a little help[8D]

Go to www.harleydavidson.com. They still list the 06, as well as the 07's

Stereo also has twice the power output from the '06......which should eliminate most of the complaints from the '06 model. At highway speeds I've never needed the volume adjusted any higher than about 50% to hear it fine. At backroad cruising speeds up to 55mph I usually have it at about 4-5 clicks (40% volume). Ditto on the comments from the other guys.

Get the Sept. issue of Thunder Press (free, from your friendly dealer)...they detail all the improvements such as; hydraulic cam chain tensioners and direct starter engagement which eliminates the inevitable jackshaft leak. Already traded my '05 EGC for an '07.

Ok, I'll bite. I am curious how the stereo is putting out that much more power. One of my Bros is a service manager , he says nothing has been changed on the HK stereos other than hardware related updates.
