It took a bit of work, but I got the running lights installed. I wouldn't recommend this mod unless you are comfortable with reading wiring schematics, and have a set of crimping tools and assorted connectors handy. I removed the batwing and tied into the wiring for the ACC switch using a piggyback connector. I also purchased seperate stainless hardware and an inline 15 amp mini fuse connector, as the one that comes with the lighting kit is really lame. It takes the better half of an afternoon and a jack would help in order to turn the front of the bike so you can get at all of the wiring. It costs about $75 once you add in the Kuryakyn "P" clamps, fuse connector, and assorted connectors. The nice thing about wiring it in this way is that you can use your ACC toggle switch to turn these lights on and off.
That is just what Im looking for, but the wiring is a little over my head. ill just have to look around for some plug and play lighting which will most likely costly me five time the amount... looks really good though

Ok.. if you change your mind I'm sure one of us can guide you through the installation.
TheShrink,
Love the pinstriping, really sharp. The other thing about mounting the lights down low, you can turn them to point out a little and give you driving lights that really help you in the corners at night.

I aimed mine so that they point a little further out and into the ditch. A lot of big deer up here in Wisconsin. Never thought about lighting up the corners but guess that's true also.

Shot these today with my cell phone. Let me know if your need better pics.
I was given a set of these lights and have been questioning how to hid the wiring. I've got a Road King Classic so I don't have lowers....do you have any photo's of what you did with the wiring? Thanks
