Running V&H ovals on the wife's 07 RKC with no air or fuel mods, they sound great. Running the same on my 08 but with V&H true duals, SE air cleaner, PCV controller. Also great sound sound but much louder.

Like the idea of v&h ovals as long as they sound good. That way I don't have to spend on air cleaner & pcv controller.

After we bought her scoot, picked up a very clean pair on ebay. Really woke up the sound but no performance loss MAYBE a little gain. But IMO they sound and look much better then stock.

Like the OP I'm new to the forum and just got my first Harley a 10 Street Glide. I also see how you can go nuts with mods! After 2 days with the bike I'm already searching the net looking for pipes. I did some homework and plan on going with a Rinehart 2 into 1 system. Any site vendors I should support?

If you keep your new harley, the exhaust will not be the only thing making you wish you had cut those cards up. I have one I use just for my bike so I can try and keep up with it.

Welcome aboard. I've been very happy with my Rinehart slip ons. They gave me the traditional "Harley" sound I was looking for. Not too loud and obnoxious. Good luck with the mods.

Welcome aboard from Ohio. Take your time listening to others pipes and you will get what you want. Also think seriously about changing to a high flow AC and add on fuel management to really enjoy your new bike. Fuel moto can really help you with this.
