Cool Dead Battery on Street Glide

Left ignition switch on and battery died. Overnight on battery tender did not charge enough to start. Should I break out the wallet and get another battery, or does anyone have other suggestions?

Put it on a regular charger and give it a full charge. If it doesn't take a charge return under warranty.

You may want to consider investing in an Xtreme Charge 5-Stage Maintenance Battery Charger. It utilizes a Pulse technology that minimizes the size of lead sulfate crystals to ensuring that the battery keeps as much charge as possible. It's good to keep it plugged into your battery if it's going to be sitting for an extended period of time and automatically shuts itself off when it is at a full charge so it doesn't damage the battery.

A battery tender is only designed to maintain a relatively fully charged battery. You need a real battery charger.
