Smile To CVO Or Not To CVO

It's between a 2011 Merlot (confirmed new color) Street Glide non CVO and a 2010 Spiced Rum SG CVO. I doubt I'll have any regrets no matter what I choose......That CVO on the showroom floor has really caught my eye but it's 10K (I can get it for $1500 under MSRP) more and it'll be a year older in a month......Hum! What to do? Also The dealer told me that Street Glides will be back for 2011 in the CVO lineup! No information on colors, pricing or any changes as of yet.

If i had the money, i would buy the stock SG and put half the difference in a custom 103 build and a good 2-1 from the dealer and then wipe the floor with any stock cvo and still keep the warrenty... you will lose alot on resale but it be alot better... imo (not that it matters) the cvo SG are ugly... now the 09 CVO RG

IMO the CVO is the best choice, hands down. When you consider everything that it comes with, it is actually a good price. If you tried to put everything it has from the factory onto a standard version you would spend quite a bit more. Plus, the 110 gives a much more potent engine platform of which to build upon.

There is only 1 thing holding me back from a CVO, and that is MONEY! If you can afford it, due it and never look back!

I think resale on the CVO is far better than any standard bike, its hard to get your money back for all the options a person puts on one. But since the CVO has everything in the base price, it holds a better percent of value, plus they are alot more limited supply than standard issue bikes.

I would buy the CVO if money is no option. One simple reason, the resale for the CVO bikes is so much better than stock models. That spiced rum is beautiful!!! Bryan

Based on the name of the colors alone, I'd go with the Spiced Rum
