I am thinking about adding automatic compression releases and I wonder does it really the best way to go. I heard that it can be installed to factory heads by tuners like Hıllsıde and which is the best way to go in your opinion? Does acr heads have good flow? I need at least 10:1 compression with my cam.

 

I had them installed in my stock heads,Well they were stock,Now i had them ported and polished by short block charlie,added 103" pistons,larger valves,andrews cams,and 10-1 compression.it dynoed at 113 HP and 120 FT LB TORQUE.The automatics from harley were pretty cheap and the wire harness wasnt to bad either,Machine shop charged me 80.00 to install acr's.I love them and the bike starts easy every single time.

 

Thanks for the info bagger76. Any info about SE heads? Do they perform like ported heads?

You are better off having a head porter work YOUR heads to match your engine components.
