It's an HD part. Just another example of a part that should have been stock.

I looked at the alloy art riser bushings but they are polyurethane. Does anyone offer a solid riser bushing? I don't think we got an answer for that. I put in poly bushings and still get 1.5 inches of play in my 16" apes on my 09 RK. It almost feels dangerous with this much play.

Has anyone used any of these?

on my 98 road king, i went with 16's and poly bushings. i could still feel them move around on me some. when i changed to 18's, i had a buddy make me some solid steel riser bushings. i loved them. the combination of those and a one piece clamp is the deal.

to answer youre question, i havent seen anyone selling them anywhere yet though. and no, the vibration was no issue at all.

one thing to consider on apes and movement though. i occasionally go up under my nacelle with a 3/4(?) wrench and tighten the lower riser bolts. you can get to them by turning the bars all the way each way. you'll be surprised how they can loosen over time. a simple torque or two makes a world of difference in play. check it out.

Thanks for the reply. They've gotten a lot looser over the last 4 weeks since I've installed them. Maybe I'll talk to the local chop shop if no one sells them. I've got the one piece clamp and they are still ridiculous. Makes me nervous with so much wobble in them. I'll tighten them a bit until I find some solid ones I guess.

If you have installed poly bushings and you still have the bars wiggeling, then there not tight enough. I had 13" bars on my 05 for 70,000 mile with no prob. at all. I now have 16' and no wiggel. I don't think you need solid bushings, just tighen the ones you have.( if there poly)

That one piece clamp has been stock since at least the '09 model year.
Already had one on my '09 RG when I put bars on.
