Too slick. So slick the bearings won't spin and causes them to skate. Oh, it is also so slick it will just leak out of the cases.
Sounds like he is a perfect candidate to run 50wt oil year round...

Yeah, unrefined, straight from the ground.
(Although I read somewhere that Pennsylvania crude was so pure that it
could be used straight from the wells as a lubricant.)

I just came back in the house from changing my oil. Filled the motor with 60wt VR-1 racing for the first few months of summer. I run in 100+ temps all the time. I drained the 50wt that was in it. Strait weight oils will retain viscosity much better the multi weights. And if anyone want to argue that I need a multi weight for cold starts don't be ridiculous. These are roller bearing motors. been doing this quite a while.

You can run whatever you want.Straight 50 will need a little longer warming up before you whack the loud pedal.

50w works for me and when its 105F in the shade I run 60w fuel econ is a tittle lower but no other problems. 06 EGC

O.K. I'm waiting for somebodies comparison oil analysis test for indicated engine wear using straight weight v. multi weight oils v. dyno v. synthetic v. slick 50 v. STP v. .................
