Default Bagger Brace

Just purchased Bagger Brace for the frame of my 2003 Electra Glide. Has anyone added a Bagger Brace to their bike, and what are the improvements afterwards.

you can do a search, there have been many threads on them, for me I use to get a high speed wobble and that is gone and it tracks and corners much better

As soon as I get near triple digits, my bike feels like it wants to start the death wobble. It is just shy of Twenty thousand miles, so the head should be checked for play about now.
I am planning to adjust my steering head, but I bet I wind up with a "Bagger Brace" on my junk as well. I'll post my findings after each.

Do the later model baggers need a frame brace?

All baggers apparently are subject to the wobble eventually. Noticed mine last year gettin a little sloppy in high speed corners but no wobble thank god. Tried those plastic inserts with no effect. Finally changed out the rubber isolaters on the swing arm yesterday ($80+). Took me about 4 hrs. Not a great mechanic. Took the Flhtpi out on 75 found some grooved pavement and then some interchange loops at 80+mph bike tracked true and straight just like new. These isolaters are the problem and yes some of these products will correct the problem. BTW those sleeves I used had collapsed when I removed them yesterday.

I'm sold on the Bagger Brace product. Anyone with a pre-2009 bagger will benefit. This is a very well manufactured add-on and relatively easy to install. I still feel a bit of "flex" in the front end of my 2008 Ultra when cornering hard but the rear of the bike is solid.

When you are in a fast, sweeping turn and the suspension is upset, the up and down movement of the swingarm can become an oscillating type of movement. That is the wobble that people talk about. The Bagger Brace and similar products add a positioning link to the rear swingarm that restricts lateral movement. It can make a huge difference. I won't have another pre 09 touring bike without some type of swingarm link.

I have the Ride Str8 on my bike, and it works gr8.
