Default My Wife is HoT!!

My wife is nagging me about the tourpak backrest making her back sweat during the summer riding. I`m thinking about removing the Pak but not sure what route I should go. How costly is it to make the pak a quick detach and about what does a quick detach sissy bar back rest cost . I`m sure some of you have had the same problem, other than leaving her at home, lemme hear what ya done to fix this... thanks

I dont own one But I keep hearing people talk about putting the beads on their seat which allows air flow. Do they make a backrest cover or could you make one to allow for air flow on her back?

I cannot see how removing the tour pak will make things any better. She will still need a back rest and it will still be hot against her back.

My wife wears female jogging tops/sport bra (or whatever they call them) and a summer mesh jacket. The jacket will keep her body away from the backrest so there can be some air circulation.

We do not have a tour pak, but my wife does dress in the above fashion and has not complained of any excess heat. Or maybe she figures I would not listen anyway.

The wife and I went for a ride yesterday in 104 degree weather. She said it was hot and her back was wet from the backrest so I told her our house has air conditioning if she would rather stay home. If you ride in the heat and your sitting, leaning or anything else against vinyl your gonna sweat.

I like the jacket idea better than leaving her at home however there is going to be some sweating if it is hot.

Didn't bother actually reading what you posted but as far as the thread title is concerned - we'll be the judge of that so - pics now. Put up or shut up
