Go to Wallyworld or an auto parts store and buy her a mesh car seat. Cut it in half and see if that works. I don't know about bike but it sure works in my convertible.

Default Solution to the heat!

Why don't you look into purchasing a "KOOL VEST" Most shops have them. You run them under cold water in the sink get them soaking wet, and then ring out the excess water, they will keep you cool for several hours. Then stop at a restaurant or gas staition and do the same thing in their sink and you will stay very cool for the entire trip Have fun
