Default left grip wont stay put!

I have iso grips on my bike. I like the look and the feel. My problem is I used the glue that came with them on the left grip. It lasted a week and came loose. I tried some automotive trim tack glue and it lasted about a month. Whats the answer for this. Something has to work. Any suggestions?

Clean everything up really good with alcohol. Get the old crap off. Spray some sticky/nasty hairspray in there and shove it on. Don't touch it till the next day. It will stick.

Performance Machine grips....
THey have 2 spots where you drill a slight dimple in two spots. Basically the grip has two allen screws in it in different spots. Take out the allen screws and slip on the grip.....mark the two holes through the grip to make a spot on the handle bar....

Remove the grip and hit the two spots with a drill bit point tip punch and then drill a lil bit to just make a dimple in the bars in two spots....put the grip on and install and tighten the allen screws.....thats all youll ever need......it comes with adhesive but I didnt even use it....those grips never went anywhere,,,,,,,solid.

You don't rivet them on?

1/4" bolt with a locknut will get you by as well, in a pinch.

One other idea: A worm gear clamp.
Oh, wait.....you didn't say if it was a rat bike. Nevermind.

I have had ISO grip in the past. I used golf grip tape and gorilla glue. Make sure inside of grip is CLEAN and handlebar is scuffed with emory paper before this. Wrap golf grip tape on clean handlebar, pour activate inside of grip with windex then dry and pour gorilla glue in and shove it on! When grip is placed leave it alone for 12-24 hours, should be good to go.

did one better than that start at the end of the bar and go one time up the bars from the end with black electrical tape then shove grip on and i guarantee that it wont budge til it has to come off and its not as messy as all the glues. i know im going to play hell getting mine off.hope this helps my uncle learned it in harley school pretty neat trick really, didnt have to scuff up my bars or anything

+1 on electrical tape. I wound enough elec tape on clockwise that I had to use a fair amount of force to twist my grip on clockwise and the grip stays put but can be easily twisted off counter clockwise if necessary.

+2 on electrical tape. I have used it numerous time on different bikes and bars and never had a grip move on me.
