Default 2010 SG Slip Ons

I have a 2010 SG & have the stock exhaust on it. At first I had my mine set about getting true duals, but the 2-1 pipe has grown on me. I'm looking for the best sounding deep tone slip on muffler for my bike. I've gone around trying to hear different exhaust but I've yet to find a 2010 SG or RG with slip ons except 1 & it had the SE Nightstick & it was too quiet. Will the catalytic converter hinder my quest? And should I just get a complete exhaust system? Thanks

I had the same problem with the Nightstick exhaust being too quiet. I went online to supertrapp.com and purchased the tuning kit for that pipe...what a difference! Part # 80881-10. The kit includes an open end cap and 10 disc's so that you can tune the loudness to your liking. For $69 I recommend it!

I ordered both an RC-Xhaust (by RC Components) and Freedom Performance Racing Slip-on for my 2010 Street Glide to compare the two. They both came in today so I will be installing them tonight to see which one sounds the best. Both of them were very affordable and are of great quality so I'm hoping the same is true with the sound quality.

I'll keep you posted on the results.

I appreciate the info. I've looked at Fuelmoto's headpipes & mufflers & I really like there products. But before I purchase those products I wish I could hear Fuelmoto's mufflers, internet doesn't do them justice. Also, how does Fuelmoto's 2-1-2 headpipe compare to there 2-1 headpipe, performance wise?

The Fuel Moto/Jackpot 2/1 and 2/1/2 head pipes actually performance very similar and both offer excellent increases in performance, sound quality and offer substantialy cooler running than the stock catalyst head pipes. They will work with all brands of mufflers. Each head pipe is hand built from aerospace grade stainless steel, and the final product is a work of art. We offer a lifetime warranty on all Jackpot stainless steel components.

Thanks for info. Also, is there a comparison to the Jackpot 2-1-2 versus Vance & Hines Power Duals? I'm looking for performance & sound quality.
