Default Strange Noise

I have an 03 Road King Classic, a couple of weeks ago I started noticing a chirping sound when the bike is running at slower speeds, or going from higher speeds and let off the gas to start slowing down. The sound is coming from behind me....anyone have an idea what it is. It is starting to become more frequent.

Thanks
Kevin

Sounds like a loose drive belt.

Check the intake manifold gaskets..........I know it sounds odd, but if I recall, a friend had the same experience and that's what the culprit was.

I reaalize you said it was coming from behind you but, I had a similar instance and the chirping sound was that the throttle cable needed tightening...

Loose exhaust baffle, perhaps?

Check the rubber mounts that hold the exhaust just below the saddle bags. Sometimes they require some silicone.

Check the belt for proper tension, and make sure it is clean.
