Had Andrews 21 installed a few weeks ago. Runs better, but has developed a noise like a rattle. Sounds like a loose running board, but have checked everything that could possibly rattle and can't fine it. Can't hear it going down the road, only when I come to a stop, after its warmed up. Didn't do it before I had the cams installed (and tensioners). Just about ready to take it back.
Any help will be appreciated.

 

Check your exhaust shields, a loose one will make it sound like your bike is coming apart. Those little gremlin noises can be hard to track down, try tapping on things with a screw driver handle to locate the loose part.

 

I put the Andrews 21's gear drive on my 05 EGC, and I notice there is more engine noise that before, but nothing like a rattle. It sounds like dougbk is on the right track, a lot of pieces had to be removed to get the new cams in, the rattle is likely from a loose connection somewhere and not engine noise. good luck

strategically retightened....see what happens...Thanks
