Are they really the pipes used on the Police bikes or it is just a label that D&D put on it?

 

They sell them to PD's as well as the public. Kdeitz has a set. He can tell ya about them.... Karl ~ ya out there?

They do sell to the Police, but not as an exclusive....partly marketing as they also sell to the general public.

These are excellent pipes.....make good power and are very well made....just a little louder than I was wanting for my Ultra Classic. I ended up with HD Touring Mufflers, so you can see that I wanted quiet and still a little power. I lost 2HP and 9 Ft.Lbs of Torque at the peaks when I got rid of the Interceptors....not that much at riding ranges of 2500 to 3500 rpm though.

If you want more bark, these are very nice pipes.
