This happens to the best of us. I hadn't layed a bike down before I bought the 09 EGC. Put it down twice in 2 weeks. Once was my fault completely....tried a VERY slow turn(down hill) and applied front brake...that didn't end well. 2nd time I was making a u-turn into a driveway and a truck came flying around a corner and I had no choice but to go down..he skidded and luckily avoided me..but that was a very close call...nothing happened to the bike thankfully and I only got scraped up.

I would recommend some squats. :-)

I've done that method unfortulately a few times. It does work, your leverage must have been off some how.

Now I know my mistake ........ didn't put my butt into it.

I shouldn't have any problems if (read: "When") I do this again ........
I gots me some butt!!!
