Black Kiwi Shoe Polish...really!! Since stock Harley seats are not leather I don't do much with mine. But when I had a Road King I asked a lady who owned a leather shop who made chaps, vests, saddlebags, windshield bags, etc. what was the best stuff to keep my stock Road King bags looking new and protected and she told me about the Kiwi. This was 8 or 10 years ago and until I sold my King two years ago that's all I used and my bags look BETTER than new. My brother still uses it today and those 10 year old bags on his King look perfect. Just apply it like you're polishing your shoes...apply the polish (wax type, NOT the liquid), let if dry, buff it off with a horsehair shoe brush then burnish to a beautiful finish with a cotton cloth. Try it, you won't believe it.

Thumbs up seats not real leather on a harley

Check out a outlet called tandy leather they got everything you will need and more. but if you really want them to be weather proof take an old crockpot and throw in 2parts bees wax and one part mink oil the thick waxy kind and mix well. then while its hot appy it to your leather, bags, gloves, boots etc. rub in real good while its hot.Takes some work and kind of messy but its the @#%*^% when it comes to leather. On my seat I use armorall never tried kiwi but its a wax so it should work ok too I guess.

There really isn't a one size fits all on this. I highly recommend Lexol to nourish the leather. You can add dye to the Lexol (about a teaspoon per half cup to cup of Lexol - mix and store in separate container). I use Fiebing’s alcohol based dye. Tandy's sell both although you can get a better deal on Lexol and Lexol cleaner at Amazon.

Once treated you need some form of water "proofing". A good wax such as shoe polish such as Kiwi is a good choice.

Using the above combination it's amazing what you can bring back from the brink.
