Default Beware

I've got the mini beast 2, great horn, very loud! But the OEM mounting stud is 2 flat washers with a stud welded thats glued to the bushing! While washing my bike I caught it, the bushing was coming apart! The mounting bushing is'nt ment for the weight of the air horn!
I replaced the mounting stud with a bolt thru the bracket & used a small shock bushing... so far so good! Good luck with what you choose!

has anyone had any problems with the mounting brackets breaking from the weight of the horn covers, I read in one thread somewhere that the custom covers, like the mini beast 5 is really heavy.....I had the HD on my last bike and really loved the attention it brought to my bike, just wasn't fond of that 'in the open' look of the horn & compressor.

My HD air horn didn't last much past the warranty period. I opted for a RIVCO air horn.
