Over the top of a tall w/s for me,stock w/s gave some pretty weird double images for a six-four frame. I keep wanting to buy a shorty for looks but havn't seen anyone with an Ultra that's done it in person-that would seem out of porportion.

I look over mine and that is the way I like it. Switched the 4" stock on my SG for an 8". Still get plenty of wind in my face and my line of vision is clear. The only time I really have a problem is on steep inclines/declines because then I have no choice but to look through it. And it is a dark smoke.

Look over by about 1".. As others have said, sometimes you have to cut them down. Couldn't imagine looking thru all the time.
