Question Cassette / MP3 OR?

Going on long trip to mountains and my 99' Ultra still has a cassette player. Typically I only use the radio but I thought I might try taking something else along. Is there a easy way I can play a MP3 through the cassette for this trip?

You might still be able to buy a CD to cassette converter. Click the link below.

The same on my '99 EG. You don't need that cassette thing.
Below the cassette player, to the right, you will see a plastic plug which is covering up a hole. Thats the plug to which you connect a 3.5mm plug to On the other end of the plug is another 3.5mm plug....NOW, take that and plug it into a mp3 player. Viola !

get one at a general dollar store, Fred's, wal-mart, kmart... Radio shack will also have them.
Its a connector that attaches to the headphone jack on the mp3 player and the other end attaches to the plug in the bike stereo. Generally the cord will be about 6 foot in length, so a few ties come in handy. Bet You'll get creative when it comes to neatness if you get all that wire blowing around while you ride.

have fun.

you can get the cable now that retracts into a "spool" from both end, no more cable flappin' or tangle and/or tied

I have one of those. The retracting spool works half assed, but it'll do. Can be wayyy overpriced IMOP.
