i had the HD lid covers on my 03 ultra. made a mess installing the velcro and never liked the fit or the little white strip showing. i owe it all to my inability to install them with quality as my brother has the same ones and they look great.

after reading the reviews of the mustangs, i decided to try them. found them on ebay at a great price and installed them tonight. they were very easy to install - 10 minutes - and they really fit and look great. i am very happy, the HD ones are on their way to ebay.

I also have the HD leather ones. Like you don't like the fact that the things don't fit right. Do you have a link to these mustang covers or a picture?

The Mustang covers fit great and look great. You can get them with studs or without. I like the way they match my Mustang seats.

+1 on the Mustang......I bought the HD ones and then saw all the velcro and went nope..Got the Mustang and they are great.

 

Ditto - got the ones with studs to match my seat and backrest. Nice snug fit. Get em on and forget about em.
Harley ones looked good but needed care and attention to the velcro, especially in the summer heat when the velcro would heat up and the backing would come unglued.

 

got them on my street glide a couple of months now , no complaints what so ever.

 

+ another one. Originally got them just for touring (bag on the backrest) - Liked them so much that I left them on.

 

They are a real quality product. I almost made the mistake and bought the HD before I realized they used velco, and white velco on top of that???? The mustang covers fit very nice and do a good job of matching the stock seats also.
