Addiction, Does it count that even though my new bike is 10 months old and has already been to the shop to pep up the engine, I am already planning how I am going to build bike number two in a couple of years? I will actually start compiling parts for the project bike in the near future....

 

I lost track a long time ago of the mods I've done. I would say that I finally have my bike close to where I want it, but inevitably, HD or someone on the forum will tell us about the newest, coolest, must have thing-a-ma-jig, and the process starts all over. I have just resigned myself to this, and my wife just laughs when I tell her "this is the LAST thing I'm putting on". There are a lot worse addictions out there, and Harley addiction is more satisfying than all of 'em!

 

The addiction for more stuff builds up over the winter. I swear I spend more time adding and upgrading when the bike is retired for the season than I do when it is riding time. When it is riding time, the urge to add goodies goes way down.

 

Yes, indeed I do know all of their names...I took my good friend up there and she was surprised at how many people I knew and how many knew me! She just laughed and then took a picture of me buying more HD stuff, then sent the picture via text to my fiance who "banned" me from the parts counter. She thought it was funny, but hey, some of the parts were for HIS Roadking!

 

Hi, I'm Thorey and am a HD Addict like you. I do not have a problem spending my $$$...The biggest problem I endure on a daily basis is that the weather is dampening my riding addict as of late.

Need to go and find Moses to split the raining forecast so I can ride in between.

It never ends. All I wanted were those "Saddle Bag Spears". lol
