Need Help finding front fender name plates
#12
I ordered the passing light kit; I just need to get it installed. I agree, I think it'll add a lot and two more lights out front (safety) isn't such a bad thing either. My SG came with the Screaming Eagle pipes, Stage 1 Kit, was flashed, top luggage chrome bars, ABS and cruise, so i didnt' have to worry about adding those items. I love the top luggage lid chrome, makes opening easy!
I'm adding chrome here and there, not overdoing it just spicing it up some. I understand the SG was made to have the stripped down look but i love the bike and I like chrome!
This is my first HD, all past bikes have been Kawasaki Sport bikes! My fiance recently bought it for me (he has a 2009 Road King Classic that I bought for him last July).
Did I mention I was addicted?
Love it, Love it, Love it!!

Hello All,
I have a new SG and would like to add the "Street Glide" name plate on the front fender; I'd would also like to add a chrome tip.
Does anyone know where I could find one of these? Hoping to find one that sticks on without having to drill holes.
Just trying to customize my new HD!
Thanks in advance!

There is a company that sells scripts on ebay. They used to have one that said "StreetGlide", but the MOCO made them stop. They now offer "Street" and "StreetRide". It is a stick on, no holes required to be drilled. There are others too, RoadKill, RoadQueen..... not affiliated with the company, just ran across them looking for something else.
Oh well.

Good point MtAiry Biker...I'll be sure to make the request (in writing) to the mechanics at the Outpost; the SG is set to go in on the 28th while I'm in IL visiting family. Thanks for your input! This is a great place to learn more than I could ever imagine!

Gets you part way there! I think they must have been stopped for copyright infringement for the full StreetGlide name.
Don't know if you can still buy these that get you all the way there:

One more and I think the comments in the listing says it all:
