You mean like this one? This was taken at the Janey's Over the Next Hill run a couple of years ago.

 

Chrome won't get you home, but he sure as hell could send a distress signal to distant galaxies...

 

The chrome guy I use here locally has been working on a Fatboy that will look a lot like this. Every time I go to his shop, there's more chrome added to his frame up project. It may be the same type situation here, an owner operator of a chrome shop advertising his work. Not a practical ride, but a hell of an attention getter for his biz.

This guy wasn't a chrome shop owner. I talked to him for a moment. He said all it took to keep it clean was a bottle of windex...

Used to be a bunch of 'em around in the '60's. I know a couple of people that have picked 'em up cheap & de-chromed 'em to make a decent bike out of 'em again..

 

That should make the cagers see you coming.

 

Some people just have no concept of taste.

 

I'm more of metal guy don't care for chrome plastic crap.

 

A little lemon pledge and that sucker would be shinning in 20 minutes.
