Default Flip-flop sighting!

Man, all of these years I thought the guy riding with flip flops on was a biker urban legend, but sure enough I saw a 20 something, on an iron head Sportster no less, wearing shorts, a t-shirt and flip flops. No joke – the guy took off from a stop sign and missed the switch to second gear 2 or 3 times as he tried to toe it up with his bare feet. Oh, and to top it off, he had a chick on the back wearing the same stuff. All I could do was shake my head and laugh and wish I had a camera. BTW - the beach is nowhere near here.

This got me thinking... What’s the strangest gear you’ve seen people riding in?

See it all the time here in TX. Last week it was some dumb *** and his lady in rush hour traffic on I-35 W on the north side of Ft. Worth heading in towards town. In this case both were bare foot !! Shorts and t's. Their skin, not mine.

His buddies in the "Bad *** Flip Flop Club" think he's a poser for riding an Iron Sporty.

He's probably making a bunch of "post *****" posts over on the "Flip Flop Forums.Com" site right now trying to get to the next post level of "Flop Coordinator Gerbil Tester"

The owner of the dealership where I bought my bikes rides in shorts and sandals all the time. Freaks me out. But people say the same about me because I never wear a helmet.
