I was just curious as to who is running these cams and what kind of numbers you're getting from them. If you have a dyno sheet please post it. Thanks!

I know they work well in a 95" motor. I'm thinking that they will not work well in a 96" due to lack of compression. You may want to talk to an engine builder to make sure.

I did see rocketing flhx post his numbers in the dyno for baggers area. You may want to send him a PM

2010 flhx, still a 96" motor , bub7 true duals , sest , hi flo air cleaner , 211 cams , rear wheel hp= 86.93 torque= 94 ftlbs

i have 96" with head work and decked heads so my compression is up. with the 211 cam, 2-1 fatcat, and arlen ness stage 1 my HP was 93 and torque 83 last friday. not happy with the torque number but i think that was a crap tune from the local HD shop. i just couldnt stant riding it any more and was impatient enough to have the quick $80 job. hopefully i can get her tuned in right so the tq is much higher. but to probably answer your question, i like the 211. it is right where i want my sweet spot to be, roll on power around 2500-3500 and she goes.

When I was a 96" with 211's and stock head pipes with SE air cleaner I made 88 HP and 98 TRQ, since then I have upgraded to a 110 with head work, T-man 10.8:1 pistons and with the same exhaust I made 112 HP with 122 TRQ ( If I remember correctly, real close to that anyways), My fatcat just came in as well as the 251 cams I planned on using, but I ordered 259 cams this A.M. instead so i'll have to wait untill they come in for the final reasult with tha build. I did install 211's in my wifes '08 Lowrider, it's a 96" with V&H short shots and she made 95 HP 95 TRQ. 211 cams are great but they are all in the top end, they come on strong above 3000 RPM's but really lack at anything lower than that, if you don't mind winding it out or dropping a gear to pass someone they are a good cam, but if you are looking for roll on power you might want to try a 255 or something. If you want to try the 211's i'll have a set out of my bike in a week or so, (hopefully), shoot me a PM if interested.

Thanks for your reply. I was just curious about these cams because I just installed the 255's in my RKC and really do not know about the 211's. The service writer was just telling me that I should have went with the 211's instead when I took the bike in for it's dyno tune after the install. I think you've pretty much answered my question as I ride two up quite a bit and I like the low end grunt.

You'll definately like the 255's over the 211's I went the 211 route because I got one of the first 96 inch bikes in this area and we put in what worked well in the 95 inch bikes, other than good numbers they really aren't great cams UNLESS you want to wind it out and keep it above 300 RPM's. At 60 MPH in 5th gear before my big bore I had to downshift into 4th to pass whereas the 255's you can pretty much just twist the grip.
