Default Installing the Sw. for the PCV?

Looking for placement of the PCV sw. I would like to use the acc. sw.
on the steering head. (I know it has 12V to one side) Has anyone
traced the wires thru the harness and splice into them, or have you
just disconnected the wires (12Volts) and ran new wires from the PCV
to the sw? Tenn.Vol.

Is sw short for switch? Are you trying to hook up 2 maps? If so you can use the acc switch or HD sells an on/off switch you can install in an unused switch hole.

I can't help with your accessory switch question because mine was already in use when I added the PCV. What I did was get a simple toggle switch from the hardware store & mount it to the metal plate on the frame in front of the battery box (under the seat & behind the rear cylinder). It fit nicely into one of the existing holes and is accessible even while riding - as long as I'm careful to avoid the pipes! I've never felt the need to switch it on the fly, though. In the 14 months the switch has been there only one person has noticed & asked me what it was for.

I've seen pictures of a double switch that replaces your accessory switch. It looks like a standard acc. switch split down the middle. I'd probably get one of those if I was doing the job now, but my original switch works just fine so I'll save the money for gas....or something.
