Fedex is usually good at honoring their losses. Have they did a full tracking on it? They lost some photos of mine one time, I was shipping to a friend in Jamaica for her birthday. Tracking showed them getting to Miami, then nothing further. Filed a claim and they cut me a check for $125, took about 2 weeks. Shipped them again and they arrived safely.

Someone in Miami has a couple of nice 20x30 landscape shots of the Grand Canyon and Painted Desert hanging in their house!

 

They gave the address and said they left on front door. I never had this problem with shipping. I have sold tons of stuff on other forms and stuff has never been missed place.

I have a neighbor on the next block who has the same address number as our house. Different street, same number. UPS was always dropping off at the wrong place. My items at their house, theirs at ours. Had one item which was never found. UPS had noted he left the item on the porch. We have no porch. Took a couple weeks but I got a refund from the seller finally. I'm guessing they are working it out with UPS. Anyway, UPS had me fill out a form swearing I knew not where the part was delivered, and I had not recieved it. From that time on, UPS requires a signature as a way of verifying delievery. I don't mind, I'm usually home. Still feel like I'm being punished for their mistake, but at least I recieve my items now...

 

They recently found some guy (ex Postal Service employee) here with a storage shed FULL of peoples USPS packages from over the past 10? years. Most were opened with nothing inside. You can imagine the different types of things they found in there. Fkn thieves.

 

Ordered a tire from Jake Wilson on 6/6. Tracking UPS says, there was a train derailment in Colo. Today tracking says, "item out for delivery". So here's hoping I get my tire today, as I am leaving on a 7K trip in less than 3 weeks. By the way it's not JW's fault for this, they are really great at getting stuff out fast.
