Knoxville, Tenn rally

i was in Pigeon forge and gatlinburg this weekend. i expected the usual hassle with the Chevy Supernationals being there. was i surprised! traffic was light everywhere and getting two people into any of the restaurants was a "no wait" situation. i wouldn't hesitate to go. I personally have found the bike to be better there than a cage.

Lot of good suggestions. If you do want to go to Gatlinburg take US129 out of Knoxville toward Maryville. When it runs into 321 take a left and head to Townsend (The quiet side of the smokies). You can take the Little Pigeon road inside the park (left turn n 18 mi long) to the Sugarland Visitor center. Another left takes you to Gtlinburg just a mile away. Beside the first light on the left is a little bar called Smokeys, biker friendly with 100 paved motorcyle parking spaces. You can walk all over the Gatlinburg strip from there. Have a good time you can't go wrong on riding destinations around here.
