Default Cutting football cover instructions

I saw a thread several weeks or months ago explaining in detail how to cut the football air filter cover to make it round.
I searched and can't find it.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks

Do you have the round air cleaner mount (stage 1 mod) If you do just buy the HD air cleaner insert and put it on without the football.

Yes, I have the SE Stage 1 airkit. Is the insert glued or bolted on? I want a black one. Does HD carry one? If they don't I'll either buy the crossbones air filter cover or cut the football and have it powdercoated glossy black.

Dremel or a cut-off wheel. Then chuck it in a drill and spin it against some sand paper or something similar to smooth the edges. Hardly seems like rocket science. Use your imagination.

Mud, a moderator in the Dyna section does this for folks, or has before. I thought he had a picture by picture howto. He normally puts together great picture-based instruction threads.

If I find the thread, I'll post it.

When the mechanics at my HD dealer use their imagination, they systematically f*ck something up on my bike so since I'm not mechanic by trade, I'd rather follow clear instructions.
