Default biketronics issue?

hello. been away for a few months trying to get moved into new digs and haven't ridden in about 2 months. had my bike parked a while and pulled it out today for a ride finally and my hand controls are not working. last time i rode all was fine but now, nothing works on either left or right side radio controls. everything else such as signals, horn, brights is ok. any ideas? has this happened to anyone else. i hate the fact i may have to pull that damn fairing again....

The first thing I would do is to check the fuses. the next is pull the fairing and check the the biketonics cable that plugs into the radio.

Does the radio still play from the radio controls? If so maybe the small 1/8" jack came loose from the back of the deck. Call Mike from biketronic's for trouble shootings idea's. He is extremely helpful. The biketronic's interface failed after two years on my ride and was replaced free of charge and has been solid for the last four years. I think the module is guaranteed for life.

Default Biketronics issue....

I had the same thing happen - no hand controls. Biketronics told me to kill the power to the module for a few minutes. So you can pull a cable off the battery, or go into the fairing and pull the plug on the module. They said something about capacitors resetting I think.
