Are the dealers 'really' getting $5K over msrp for the Crimson Black / Dark Slate version of the CVO Ultra? Are people paying this kind of money or are they sitting on them?

Can some of you buyers, or rather owners, chime in?

 

I know someone who got one last fall in the green and silver for under msrp.

 

Most CVOs get at least 4k over MSRP at the dealership I work at. For the most part dealers get fewer of the CVO bikes than there are people willing to buy 'em. Can't remember the last time there was a previous year CVO on the showroom floor when the next year models came out.

 

Whatever the Market will bear .. If people are willing to pay 4-5K over MSRP the Dealers will gladly sell them for that price..

 

I don't think the Ultra comes in green. And, yes, 'what the market will bare' is too easy an answer! I'm trying to get past the what if, and get a real number. I'm in sales and know how it works.

Not red, yellow teal or white! Just the Crimson / Slate combo.

Any owners??

 

Two guys in my HOG chapter bought the '10 CVO Crimson Mist limited edition Ultra. The guy buying at the sponsoring dealer paid MSRP plus the junk fees the dealer charges for new bikes. The other paid MSRP plus $500 from a dealer in TN.

Are you looking for a bike or just wanting to discuss dealer pricing generally?

My boss just bought the 2010 CVO Crimson Black Ultra, had Rineharts, air cleaner, and tuner installed..........$40000 out the door.

If you look hard enough you will get one at MSRP. Some are trying to get over MSRP.

 

Can't talk about other dealers but here in Tampa, I paid MSRP for mine. Also, it is not just dealers getting over MSRP:
