Default 2010 Ultra Classic exhaust

I just bought a new 2010 Ultra Classic, I love the bike its very nice. The only thing I need help on is that I want the exhaust a little louder. I dont care for extra HP and I dont want to spend alot of money. What would be the best way to achieve a louder exhaust without spending alot of money?I have heard differant things from dealers and they are different answers as far as downloads and things you have to do.

I don't mind the sound of the SE Fat Shotz. They will give you a lower note, and better sound on throttle without drowning out the radio at cruise. See if you can listen to a pair at your local dealer.

Enjoy,
John

I'd head to your dealer tomorrow morning and ask around. There will be plenty of people who will be more than happy to fire up their bikes and let you listen.

Get the Jackpots; can't beat them for the price. You'll still be able to hear your radio too.

American customs does some work with stock pipes, you can go to their website and hear soundbites. 3 different baffle options.
I just bought some Screaming eagles on ebay, waiting for them to arrive. From what I hear they are the next step up loudness wise from stock. Let you know more when I hear them.

I also have a 2010 Ultra Classic. I did not want more noise but wanted t get rid of the CAT in the head pipe. I replaced the stock head pipe with a Vance and Hines Power Dual head pipe.

The bike runs cooler and the sound/noise is noticeably louder with the stock mufflers; not loud but a little louder.

I have a 2010 Ultra also, and have been thinking about what to do with the exhaust. My concern is what it will sounds like with the cat. I hear plenty of nice sounding bikes and get plenty of recommendations, but have not heard of many with a cat.
