George Anderson Tour Pak Relocator
I've seen your guys talk about this guy called George Anderson and his tour pak relocator and the quality of his product. Well I'm hear to tell you in street terms it's off the hook. I recieved the bracket this afternoon opened the box and could not believe the craftmanship of the bracket smooth sides black powder coating (I think) aleast it looks like it, the instruction and installation were easy. I called George last sunday to inquery about his product, I told George that I would like to order one, I gave him my info and I asked George how do you want to be paid (now get this he said) just send me a personal check, moeny order or cashier check in a couple of days I'm going to send it out monday for you. In this day and age thats unheard of. I ordered this for my wife and I for our trip to Stugis this year to give her a little more room on the back not that she need it, I put a tallboy seat on and the passenger seat is smaller then stock. In general great product it will be one item that is removed from my bike if I step up to a newer year.
Thank You George
Thank You George

+1 for George. Great person to do business with. I've had his part on my bike for 3 years. one of the best upgrades I've done for my wife. It was nearly impossible to use my backrest before because there wasn't enough room.
I have some picture of the relocator if anyone wants to see them.

++1 for George...(again and again). A GOOD MAN! A great product! Same as everyone...I called him, placed my order...asked how he wanted his payment, and he said "Just send me a check or money order. Im putting your item in the mail TODAY!!" That was a Tuesday. Thursday, it was at my PO Box. THAT's SERVICE!!!
Like Steve, there wasnt enough room for the Tour Pak, the adj. backrest, and the GF. Two years ago, and ONE trip after putting on the Tour Pak, I put George's relocator on, and EVERYONE's happy. Last weekend GF and I took a trip; when we got there I had to pull the seat off for something, and left the backrest off. Wanted to see if she had more room without it. On the way back, she told me she MISSED her 'armrest'....lol.
The backrest is back ON!

George's contact info
There's been several times that people have asked me about George's relocator....
Where I got it?
How much was it?
How do I get in touch with him?Can someone post, or PM me George's contact info? Im going to put it in my tour pak pouch, and in my cell phone...that way I can give it or send it to someone who's interested.

Sounds like a great deal. I've got an '03 Ultra Classic (43000 miles) and just had my stock tour pack bar BREAK last night, while going down the highway with my wife on the back! Talk about unnerving...I don't know what I would have done if the tour pack would have fallen completely off...
Anyway, does the mod kit use the stock bar that the tour pack bolts to? The stealership wants $80 for the stock replacement. I've been considering a relocate kit anyway, figure now is as good a time as any. Looked at Kuryakin's, they use the stock bar, so I would have to buy that anyway...just looking for an alternative. Also what is the $$??
Thanks!

Not meaning to hijack the thread, this is sort of related - for those of you with "short" GFs/wives, once moving the tourpack back, did they have issues with legs hitting the front of the saddlebag guard/frame bars? My wife is 5"2" and she is complaining her legs are getting bruised on the top, front chrome bar. I am going to need to get some black foam pipe insulation or something to stick on there when she rides. Anyone else have this issue?
