They used to require a core or an oem replacement. They don't do that anymore, so after replacement, selling the oem and recouping a hundred or so, it makes it even a better deal. ALSO, these are now available through Drag Fat Book as of May so if you can find a dealer that has a discount sale, this may be even less expensive. In any event, it is a hell of a deal compared to paying the MOCO $1000 for a color matched one...

 

I like it mainly because it's different and makes your bike unique. It definitely gives your bike more of a custom look to it. Most guys I know have gone the "painted to match" inner fairing. I also really like the custom striping (with the blue) you did too.

u know what would look great in my opinon? have your pin stripe changed to that color, IMO that would tie it in

I like it too, but I think you are right to want to swap your glove box doors, I think that would tie in with the color on your hog tunes instrument panel tweeters and fairing speakers.

Either that or paint your hog tunes tweets and speakers gray as well?

Love all the mods, they are making me want to spend more $$ on my 09 RG.
