Riding Hawaii
#21
We did it a few years ago. A lot of rental places on the street corners. We just checked around until we saw one that had good looking bikes and rented there. We went ahead and got the extra insurance 'cause I figured that was cheaper than going back or dealing with any hassles from my insurance company. We rode Highway 1 and rode up to the North Shore on Oahu. Well worth the coin,

Oh yeah baby, I'm starting to get happy about this idea! I had rotator cuff surgery 3 wks ago and should be sufficiently rehabbed by September - I hope. Anyway, I'm missing riding and hopefully sometime in August I'll be able to get back on & see how it goes. If not, there's always - dare I say it - 4 wheels.

The dealership in Maui is right on the road straight down from the airport in Kahului. They have a pretty good selection of bikes (baggers, deluxes, fatboys)to rent. Iwould recommend making a reservatio several days in advance because they get pretty busy.Just call 877-ride. PM me if you have any questions about riding Maui.
