Hey HD people

I need your help, I want to replace my Hooker Slipon's ( came with my bike) I have a 97 RK Classic FI

I researched slip ons, and I like the sound of V & H. W Can anybody tellme what the difference is between ovals and basic slip ons. Does anyone have any recomm for me? Its my first bike, and man do I love it, please help

The ovals fit the same way as standard slip on's. Just make sure there for the correct year. Mine were an easy install. They go on the same way as any other slip on's. Only thing is making sure they're even. Don't tighten anything until you have them both exactly the same. Otherwise they'll look very odd from behind if they're not level.

they go on exactly like any other slip ons. the name says it all. they are oval in shape IMO they look good under a set of bags.

 

 

The ovals are double walled. (cant turn blue on you) I don't think the basic slip ons are, but Im not 100 percent sure on that.

I have a set for sale! Make great power and they are in very good shape. I went with stretched bags so I switched exhaust.

 

I've had my ovals for over 3 years. They still look as good as new.

Do you like the look of the ovals?

They are relatively loud when you crack the throttle.

 

I have ovals on my ride with a fuelpak, I like the sound but could be a little louder, but that's me. I go with it b/c I come home from work at 4 am and I don't want to wake the neighbors. They look good too.
